Project Description: Statements of Qualifications submittals are hereby solicited by the University of California, Santa Barbara (“University”) from design professionals and firms with relevant experience and expertise in providing the services associated with the UCSB SHORELINE ADAPTATION PROJECT.
The University requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) No. FM250328 from qualified professionals interested in providing detailed project technical studies, alternatives selection reports, participation in outreach programs, and adaptation pathway plans with preliminary design plans for the Project. Engineering or other firms with relevant experience and expertise designing comparable projects are encouraged to respond. The purpose of this project is to begin implementation of the(UCSB Sea Level Rise Adaptation Strategy (“Strategy”) for Areas 3 and 4 by preparing technical studies, actionable sea level rise adaptation pathway plans, and preliminary designs for specific strategy components in the Campus Lagoon and Lagoon Road shoreline areas of campus, an approximately 1.5 mile stretch of the south and east shoreline of the main UCSB campus.
